A cow, a donkey, a sheep, a pig, and a tiny little mouse decided to go for a boat ride in the bay. Do you know what happened?
Beside the sea, there once lived a cow, a donkey, a sheep, a pig, and a tiny little mouse. One warm, sunny morning--for no particular reason--they decided to go for a row in the bay. The tension increases as each creature in turn gets aboard their red rowboat. The donkey is a smart critter since he knew how to balance the weight of the cow. The sheep was just as smart since he got on the opposite side to the pig. Now very low in the water, but still afloat. But when the smallest and lightest of the friends gets on board . . . OOPS!
The illustrations are quirky and colorful and the facial expressions and body language of the characters are delightful.
